A private place to write
How does the Reboot Journal work?
The Journal is a private space in Reboot where you collect your thoughts on your progress.
Open your Personal Journal and start to write. Give the entry a title, or leave it as "Untitled". Tap "Done" to save it. You can open an entry later, change it and tap "Save Edit".
Your journal entries stay on your device. Other users cannot see them.

Writing tasks go into your Journal
The writing tasks in the Daily Routine save to your Journal. These include Goal Setting, Fear Setting, Gratitude Journal, Day Rehearsal, Daily Design and Reflection Question. Each entry gets a title from its task, for example "Goal setting for the upcoming week".
Reflection Question gives you a new question to think about. Some questions are hard. If a question brings up feelings that you cannot handle, skip it.
Write when an urge hits
"Write an entry in your journal" is one of the options on the Emergency screen. Writing gives you something to do with the urge, and you can read the entry again later.
Lock the app
Turn on Biometric Passcode in Settings. Then the app asks for Face ID or your passcode each time it opens. This stops other people from opening your journal.
