Политика конфиденциальности
Эта политика конфиденциальности доступна на английском языке. Действует английская версия.
This privacy policy explains what data the Reboot app and the rebootquitporn.app website collect, why we collect it, and what choices you have.
Who we are
Reboot: Overcome Urges & Lust (“Reboot”, “the app”) and the website rebootquitporn.app are operated by Tinybiohacks Private Limited, a company registered in Singapore (“we”, “us”).
For any question about privacy, or to use your rights, email hello@rebootquitporn.app. This address also reaches our Data Protection Officer.
The short version
- You can use Reboot without an account. An account with your email address is optional.
- Your check-ins, journal, trends, triggers and settings stay on your device. We do not receive them.
- Your progress summary (for example clean days, streaks, level and badges) and the profile you enter during onboarding go to our database at Google Firebase. This lets you sign in on a new device.
- We collect app usage data (analytics) and subscription data so that the app works and so that we can improve it.
- We do not show ads, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell or share your personal data for advertising.
Data that stays on your device
The following data is stored only on your phone. We do not receive a copy of it:
- Your check-ins: victories, setbacks, triggers, temptations, mood and sleep.
- Your trends, calendar and weekly report.
- Your journal entries, your manifesto and your custom triggers.
- Your daily routine tasks and challenges.
- Your settings and your reminder times. Reminders are local notifications that your phone schedules.
- Your passcode and your Face ID setting. Your phone checks Face ID. The app never sees your face data.
The adult content blocker uses Apple’s Screen Time. You choose the apps and websites to block in an Apple screen. The app cannot see which apps or websites you choose. It only sees how many you chose.
You can delete all of this data from Settings → Delete Account, or by deleting the app.
Data we collect
Your profile and progress (Google Firebase)
When you finish the onboarding, the app creates an anonymous user ID with Firebase Authentication (Google). It then stores this data in Firebase Realtime Database:
- The profile you enter during onboarding: the name you want the app to use, your birthday and age, your relationship status and your goals.
- Your progress summary: total clean days, porn-free days and masturbation-free days, streaks, best streaks, time saved, level, stars and badges.
- Technical data: the date you created your profile, your time zone offset, whether you subscribe, and a push notification token if you allow notifications.
If you register an account, Firebase also stores your email address and sends you a sign-in link by email. There is no password.
If you are in mainland China, or your App Store currency is Chinese yuan, the app does not use Firebase. Your profile and progress then stay on your device.
App usage data (analytics)
We use Amplitude to understand how people use Reboot, so that we can fix problems and improve the app. When you use the app, it sends events such as “app opened”, “check-in completed”, “meditation started”, “journal entry created”, steps of the onboarding and of the subscription screen, and whether we showed a review prompt. These events say that an action happened. They do not contain the text of your check-ins or your journal.
Amplitude also receives your anonymous user ID and these profile details: your name, birthday, age, relationship status, goals, the time you said you spend on porn, and whether you subscribe or registered.
With these events, Amplitude receives technical data: a random device identifier, your device model, operating system version, app version, language, and an approximate country or region that is derived from your IP address.
The app may also send automatic usage events to Google Analytics for Firebase, such as the first app open and session starts, with an app instance identifier.
During onboarding on iPhone, the app asks ipapi.co for your country, based on your IP address. We use the country only to decide whether the app can use Firebase where you live. We send the country name to Amplitude.
Purchases and subscriptions
Payments for Reboot Plus go through Apple’s App Store (or Google Play). We never see your card details.
We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat receives your anonymous user ID, your purchase and subscription history (product, price, currency, store country, dates and renewal status), device identifiers and your IP address. The app also sends RevenueCat your name, age and relationship status from the onboarding, and the screen where you subscribed. We use this data to unlock Reboot Plus, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and understand subscription numbers.
When a subscription or trial starts, the app sends the product name to our team chat at Slack. This message does not contain your name or user ID.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app gets a push token from Expo, our notification service, and stores it with your Firebase profile. We use it only to send you app notifications.
Messages you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use it only to reply to you.
The website
rebootquitporn.app is hosted by Vercel. When you visit the website, Vercel processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and to protect the service.
The website uses PostHog (United States cloud) to count page views, how far people scroll, and clicks on App Store links. PostHog keeps its state in memory only and sets no cookies. It receives the page URL, the referring page, your browser, your device type and an approximate location that is derived from your IP address. The website does not use advertising tags.
Data we do not collect
- We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), and the app does not ask for permission to track you.
- We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos or health data from Apple Health.
- We do not receive your check-ins, your journal or the apps and websites you block.
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How we use data
We use the data above to:
- Provide the app and its features, let you sign in on a new device, and unlock and restore your subscription.
- Understand how the app and the website are used, find and fix bugs, and improve them.
- Send you notifications that you allowed.
- Prevent fraud and abuse.
- Reply to your messages.
- Comply with the law, for example accounting and tax rules for purchases.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (to provide the app and your subscription), our legitimate interests (to understand and improve the app and the website and to prevent fraud), your consent (for notifications and for the data about your recovery that you choose to enter), and legal obligations (for purchase records).

Under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), you can ask for access to and correction of your personal data, and you can withdraw consent. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to data portability and the right to complain to your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know, to delete and to correct your personal information, and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as the CCPA defines these terms.
To make a request, email hello@rebootquitporn.app. If you do not have an account, we may need details such as your App Store purchase receipt or order ID to find your data. We reply within the time that the law sets.
Age limit
Reboot is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you think that a person under 18 has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Health information
Reboot is a self-help app. It does not diagnose or treat any medical condition. Your check-ins, triggers, mood and sleep data stay on your device. Your progress summary, such as your clean days and streaks, goes to Firebase as described above.
Security
We use service providers with industry-standard security, and data in transit is encrypted with HTTPS. You can lock the app with a passcode or Face ID. No method of transfer or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we change the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or on this page.
